একবিংশ শতাব্দীর বিজ্ঞানীরা কৃষি ফসল জমিতে উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধি, আগাছা উৎপাটন ও কীটনাশক প্রয়োগে  যে রোবট আবিস্কার করেছেন সেই রোবটের প্রয়োগ শুরু হয়ে গেছে উন্নত দেশগুলোতে। ঐসব দেশ কৃষি ফসল  উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধিতে  মানুষের পাশাপাশি রোবটের ব্যবহার বাড়িয়ে দিতে ইচ্ছুক। অতি সম্প্রতি  আমেরিকার সিয়াটেল-এরিয়া এগটেক স্টার্টআপ আইজেন কৃষি ফসল জমিতে আগাছা ধ্বংসকারী রোবটের উৎপাদন ও কুষি খামারগুলোতে এসবের ব্যবহার বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যমাত্রা হাতে নিয়েছে। কোম্পানিটি ৭০টি জেনারেটিভ এআই রোবট তৈরি করবে  , যা সহজে কৃষি খামার ভিত্তিক ডেটা সংগ্রহ ও বিশ্লেষণে সাহায্য করবে। এসব তথ্য কৃষকদেরকে কৃষি  ভিত্তিক প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্য সরবরাহ করতে পারবে।  এসব এআই রোবটগুলো হবে সৌরবিদ্যুৎ চালিত রোবট । আমেরিকার সিয়াটেল-এরিয়া এগটেক স্টার্টআপ  কোম্পানির এই রোবট প্রজেক্টে ১২ মিলিয়ন ইউএস ডলার  বিনিয়োগ করেছে NEA, Cleveland Avenue, Incite, এবং Susquehanna Private Equity Investments LLLP কোম্পানি।মুলত সিয়াটেল ষ্টার্টআপগুলির একটি গ্রুপের অংশ  Aigen যা আগাছা নিয়ন্ত্রণ , নিষিক্তকরণ . কৃষিকাজ সয়ংক্রিয়করন এবং ক্ষেত্র বিশ্লেষণ করে থাকে । এরকম কার্বন রোবোটিক্স কোম্পানি আগাছা জ্যাপ করার জন্য রোবট তৈরি করছে। আর আইজেন  হচ্ছে ২৩ সদস্য নিয়ে গড়ে উঠেছে যারা সংগ্রহ করা ডেটার উপর ভিত্তি করে সেবা প্রদান করে ফি চার্জ করে অর্থ উপার্জন করে এবং আরো সেবা প্রদানের মাত্রা সম্প্রসারনের পরিকল্পনা করে।আইজেন কৃষিখামার গুলোতে রোবটের ব্যবহার সম্পর্কে বলেছেন , এটি তার সৌর-চালিত রোবটগুলির উৎপাদন বাড়াতে তাজা নগদ ব্যবহার করবে যা খামারে ঘোরাফেরা করে এবং মাটি থেকে আগাছা উপড়ে ফেলবে, কীটনাশক এবং কায়িক শ্রমের প্রয়োজনীয়তা হ্রাস করবে।

বাংলাদেশের মত উন্নয়ন শীল ও অনুন্নত দেশের কৃষি খামারগুলোতে  যদি এমন রোবটের ব্যহার নিশ্চিত করা যেত তাহলে কৃষকদের ফসলের আগাছা পরিষ্কার অথবা পোকামাকড়ের হাত হতে  রক্ষার জন্য কীটনাশক কিনতে হতনা । ফসল  উৎপাদন  আরো বৃদ্ধি পেত।
