বজ্রপাত কমুলোনিম্বাস নামের মেঘের সাথে সম্পর্কিত । কমুলোনিম্বাস  মেঘে শক্তিশালী বাতাসের সাথে  এই বজ্রপাত

 হয়ে থাকে।  এর ফলে মাঝে মাঝে ভারী বৃষিট , শিলা বৃষ্টি ,ঝড় হয়ে থাকে। বাতাসের তাপমাত্রা এবং আদ্রতা বেড়ে  গেলে  বজ্রঝড়ের সৃষ্টি হচ্ছে।   অন্যদিকে ঠান্ডা বাতাসের চেয়ে আদ্র  উষ্ণ বাতাসের ঘনত্ব বেশি হওয়ার কারনে অতি গরম হয়ে উঠে পৃথিবীর তাপমাত্রা ।
